Sumadhura Technologies installs solar pumping water system

Sumadhura Technologies constructed two storied dormitories for the NTC Muni University funded by the Belgium Government (Enable). 7.5 KW Micro grids were installed for the external and internal lighting. Solar Powered street lights were installed, solar powered pumps were installed and Zincalume Tank.

Microgrids are promising solutions to guarantee a reliable electrical power source for areas suffering from grid blackouts.

In this work, a new model for a PV-battery micro-grid was proposed to provide a reliable electrical power source for loads considering both active and reactive power flow. Moreover, an optimal operation strategy was introduced to decrease the consumed energy cost and increase the dispatched energy from the PV-array.

Micro-grid provides an uninterrupted power supply to the load and considerably reduce the total dispatched energy cost.

In today’s world Solar pumping water system is becoming more and more popular, it is applying to daily use (underground water), agriculture irrigation, forestry irrigation, desert control, pasture animal farming, water supply for rural & urban, wastewater treatment engineering, and so on. In recent years, with the promotion of the utilization of non-conventional energy resources, solar pumping systems are being used more and more in municipal engineering, city center squares, parks, tourist sites, resorts and hotels, the landscapes and fountain systems in the residential areas. This system is composed of a solar array, a pump and a pump controller.

Based on the design philosophy that it is better to store water than electricity, there is no energy storing device such as battery in the system. The solar pumps supplied and installed by Sumadhura are of 5 star rating and are North American Component Certified & European Conformity Certified.
